Corporate & Employee Relocation — Northwest Indiana & Illinois Towns We Work
Realest is a local brokerage on South Main in Crown Point. This page is for relocation companies, HR and mobility managers, employers sending people into our towns, and out-of-area brokers who need a steady handoff on a transfer—not a consumer “how to move” guide.
If you are a homeowner or buyer relocating on your own from Illinois, start here instead: Moving from Illinois.
Partner call: (219) 801-0432 · Ask for the shop — Sash Joveski, Managing Broker, or the agent assigned to your file.

Who this page is for
- Relocation firms placing assignees into Northwest Indiana or the Illinois south-suburb towns we work
- HR / mobility managers coordinating an employee buy or sell in our coverage
- Out-of-area brokers referring a transferring client who needs local listing or buyer representation
- Employers who want a named shop contact—not a call-center queue
We are licensed in Indiana and Illinois. We are not a full corporate mobility vendor and we do not claim membership in national relocation networks.
Coverage — towns and counties we work
Honest geography, not every suburb on the map:
- Indiana: Lake, Porter, and LaPorte County — including Crown Point and the South Main corridor we know best
- Illinois: Homewood, Orland Park, Flossmoor, and the Lansing state-line area
If the destination is outside these towns and counties, say so on the first call. We will tell you straight whether we can help or point you elsewhere.
How a partner handoff works
One shop phone. A named point of contact. Two-state licensing where the file needs it.
- Intake call — You reach the office at (219) 801-0432. We confirm company, contact, assignee, destination town(s), timing, and whether the employer is paying.
- Tour / list plan — Buyer side: area orientation and showings in towns we work. Seller side: listing prep and go-to-market plan. Licensed IN and/or IL as the property requires.
- Updates — Status back to your coordinator or broker of record on a cadence you set—no mystery pipeline.
- Close — Coordination with title, lenders, and the parties you bring; we stay in our lane as the local brokerage.
Managing Broker: Sash Joveski. Files are worked from the Crown Point shop, not a distant desk.
What Realest does — and what third parties do
We do: local buyer and seller representation in the Indiana counties and Illinois towns listed above; partner communication; market reality on pricing and timing; closing coordination from the brokerage side.
We do not pretend to be: the household-goods mover, the title company, the attorney, the temporary-housing vendor, or a turnkey global mobility platform. Those partners stay yours (or the assignee’s). We work alongside them.
What we need from you on the first call
- Your company name and your role (HR, relocation firm, or referring broker)
- Approximate volume this year—or count for this single assignment
- Origin city/state and destination town(s) in our coverage
- Timing (start date, report-by date, or list-by window)
- Whether the move is employer-paid, employee-paid, or still unsure
- Any notes on confidentiality, dual agency limits, or preferred update cadence

Partner FAQ
- How do fees work for a referral or corporate assignment?
- We’ll talk fee on the call—structure depends on buy vs. sell, who is referring, and what the employer expects. No published split sheet on this page.
- Who signs the agency agreement—the employee or the company?
- Usually the consumer (buyer or seller) signs as the client. If your company needs a separate services letter or W-9 on file, bring that up at intake. We don’t give legal advice on employment or tax treatment.
- Can you work a file that touches both Indiana and Illinois?
- Yes when the property sits in the towns and counties we work—we are licensed in both states. Cross-border personal moves still follow the same honest coverage list above.
- How do you handle privacy for executives or sensitive transfers?
- Share only what we need to represent the client. Tell us your preferred contact path (you vs. the assignee) on day one. We don’t publish case studies or name employers on marketing pages.
- Do you invoice the relocation company or the employee?
- Depends on the deal. Brokerage compensation is typically on the closing statement; any separate partner arrangement is discussed before we take the file. We’ll talk fee on the call.
- We’re an out-of-area broker—do you accept referrals?
- Yes, for destinations in our coverage. Call the shop, name the client situation, and we’ll confirm fit before anyone is introduced.
